Want to lay on the beach all day and get paid for it? I know I do!
Realistically, I don’t necessarily have to live at the beach. My real goal is to escape the grip of the 9-5 grind that seems to inevitably claim so many people I know.
I’m currently at a turning point in my life, about to graduate college with a marketing degree. I also have several online ventures that are attempting to make money, as well as some financial investments that will hopefully prove to be profitable as well.
The goal is NOT to make a million dollars…instead, I’m looking for true time freedom. That is, the ability to make money and sustain a comfortable life without having to laboriously grind out a living for 40 hours every week.
The goal is also not to win the lottery. I’m not looking for a free ride here. Technically, I’m not even looking to make money “with no work”–I’m willing to put up a very strong initial effort in order to build money-making systems or set up these passive income streams.
The goal is to work less and earn more.
So this blog is essentially my journey towards this financial goal.
UPDATE #1:
I quit my day job and I now live on my online income, which currently totals about $2,000 per month or so in passive earnings. My monthly expenses are around $1,300 and I try my best to practice frugality in my life, not buying junk, and focusing on the important things.
UPDATE #2:
As of November 2011 I sold my flagship website for $200,000 dollars. This money will all be invested in order to create more passive income.
In addition, I am now converting this site you are reading into my new “flagship project.” All of my efforts will be directed to turning this website into a real earner.
If you want to learn how to make money online, I suggest you start by reading most of the links in my sidebar. There is a ton of information contained in those articles and if you follow the suggestions that I make then you will make money online. Yes, you do have to put in some work! This post here is probably one of the more detailed explanations that I give that explains exactly what you have to do in order to create a business.

You’re doing a lot better than me it seems. Well I’ve gotta start somewhere so I better get back to work. If I was already making 2k per month then I would definitely quit my day job and power it through. Unless of course you pay 2k rent every week or something.
