Well one thing that you can do to if you are looking for easy ways to make money is to build an authority website as outlined in the mini course here. This does involve some risk but not very much monetary risk, only a risk in your time that you put up. You can buy a domain and get hosting by the month for less than 20 dollars. Your overall expenses can be under 100 bucks annually for your entire business. This is dirt cheap. However, if you want to build a website that has a chance at making any money, you will have to either invest lots of time for writing articles, or lots of money to have them written for you. Both of those present some degree of risk, because what if your site gets built up and then it never makes a dime in earnings? Or what if it starts to earn income but suddenly it gets penalized by the search engines and stops receiving free traffic? Both things are possible and so even though you can invest your time for “free” you still have to face the possibility that you may not earn any money in the long run.
So what can you do? If you are serious about building a business online and turning it into a semi-passive stream of income then you should probably follow the mini course here and build a really good website. Just one. My take is that you should add 3 articles each day to it and keep the quality level insanely high. If you cannot write 3 quality articles per day then I would suggest that you write one super high quality article as fast as you can and then publish it. Then write another one. If you keep this up and stick with the same topic then eventually you should get faster at it. Three per day is not so bad and it will net you over a thousand articles per year. This is enough to create a very powerful income stream within a few short years.
Promotion factors into this as well and if you do not build any links at all then your income will take much, much longer to show up. This is fine for some people but others may want to learn how to create some links. How do you build links to your website? It is darn hard to do. I would suggest that the foundation of doing so is to network with others in your niche and start befriending them. Don’t just ask for links outright, instead, make friends with them. Ask them if THEY need a link. Look for guest posting opportunities. And so on.
So there is no way to completely eliminate all risk from building a website and trying to make money from it. If there were then it would not be a real business. Instead, you have to put forth your best effort, follow the advice of others (read the mini course here on this site!) and if you work hard then you will likely be rewarded.
