Can you really make money from home, or are all those ads you see just scams? Is it worth pursuing the idea of a home based business, or is it a lot of work for not much money?
In a lot of cases, it is a scam. In a lot of cases, you have to do a tremendous amount of work and the pay is very low. But they can still sell the package and sell the idea because people get caught up in the idea that they are “working from the comfort of their own home” so they are willing to accept lousy pay for doing hard work.
For example, you might see a lot of “work from home” ads that talk about stuffing envelopes. If you actually try to do this then your hourly wage will be less than minimum wage. You would be better off working fast food or something, as it would be about twice the hourly wage or more.
You have to understand right off the bat that markets are efficient. This means that there are 20 million bean counters our there in the world and if there is a way to make money from home then people are doing it and doing it well. If it is lucrative enough they will scale it up and turn it into a real business. So there are not a lot of huge holes in the marketplace where you can make a killing by doing easy work from your home. If such holes do exist then they get filled very quickly, because the market is efficient. There are a whole lot of people who are willing to step up, do the work, and make the money. You are just a cog in the machine, and if you think you have stumbled on a get rich quick scheme, it has already been discovered and mined to death. There is an army of money makers out there already, and several of them woke up before you did this morning.
Now, can you still make money from home? Sure. But you have to be smart about it. If you want to work closer to full time hours, then you can start a real full time business from home too. But it does take real work.

PUT IN ABOUT 40 HOURS AND ONLY MADE ABOUT $13 AND CAN’T GET THAT UNTIL I REACH A CERTAIN AMOUNT AND AT 2 CENTS EACH THAT COULD BE A LONG TIME. WOULD LIKE TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE CAN YOU GIVE ME A HINT OF WHERE TO START I ONLY NEED ABOUT A $1,000 A MONTH AND I CAN LIVE LIKE I USE TO WHEN I WAS WORKING . 62 IN NC STRIVING TO DO BETTER.

It is absolutely possible to make that sort of money online, but doing surveys will never amount to much. It does take a bit of work, and it won’t happen straight away, you need to build up some properties and wait for them to age a little before they will really start producing for you.
