I have been working on building up my passive income streams for over 3 years now. It took me the first 2 years to get my passive income up to 100 bucks per month. Then it took me the entire third year to get that up to $300 per month.
I am hoping to get this up to a cool grand each month within another year or two.
After that, the sky is the limit. I’m going to shoot for at least $3,000 per month from my online income within the next couple of years. Long before I reach that point I will quit my day job and work full time on my websites.
The beauty of this is that “full time on my websites” will really turn out to be more like “part time in my pajamas” or even “from my laptop on a beach as I travel.” That is the beauty of online income and that is what I am pushing so hard for.
I have gone from 0 to $300 per month in passive income so I know this dream will be realized eventually. It is simply a matter of time and obviously I have to keep putting in the work in order to build this stream of income up.
Another key bonus from earning passive income in this manner is that the money seems to be recession-proof. While everyone else has complained about the poor economy, my income has steadily been increasing. I know that ad spending is a bit down in the online world, but it is also a bit down in traditional channels (such as television advertising) and therefore some companies are turning to the cheaper online ad spending to compensate. So passive income is still very possible in a down economy and may even rise a bit due to the cost of traditional advertising.
Basically, if you want to make money with Google then you have to have a lot of dedication. Remember it took me at least 2 full years before I really even started to see a tiny trickle of income. Now that I have achieved that it is a slow but steady process to grow that income larger. If you are not truly dedicated to the idea of growing this income stream then you might as well forget it.
