So I was using Textbroker.com in order to have some articles written for me a few weeks ago. I paid money and people wrote the articles. This is outsourcing. I was paying around 5 bucks per article and Textbroker keeps 25 percent of this money and gives the rest to the author who writes it.
Then a few days later I decided to try the reverse and write an article myself. I guess I was just interested to see if money could really be made this way. I type fast and I can make stuff up on the fly so I though I would try it out. Textbroker has a star rating system that goes from 2 stars up to 5 stars, with 5 start being the highest quality writer. They start you at 3 stars and let you write your first 5 articles for up to 1 cent per word. After that they manually review your work and give you a star rating themselves based on your writing. Also, the clients who requested the articles will review your writing and either accept or reject the articles. They can also vote and give you a star rating.
So I sat down and banged out the first 5 articles and I am guessing that it took me about 2 hours, maybe less. I was only allowed to write level 3 articles and make 1 cent per word. The level 4 articles pay 1.4 cents per word by the way.
So I did this and they totaled 19 bucks for the 5 articles. I thought: “Hmmm….20 bucks. I could do this every day and make a nice income.”
So they put me on hold basically to do the review and today they just fired me an email and said that they had rated me at 4 stars and I was free to start writing more. There are literally thousands of articles waiting to be written at any given time.
So I had already done a TON of writing on my own web properties today but I wanted to give it a shot anyway. So I decided that I would do a one hour trial run and crank out as much as I could in one hour and see how much I could make. When the clock struck 5 I started looking for my first article to write and by 56 minutes later, at 5:56, I had finished writing 4 articles total. I did not have to do any research to write them. At one point I started doing some quick research, actually, but I ditched that article and simply moved on to the next one that looked easy to write.
So anyway, it is now 6:35 and the client who ordered the articles must be online right now because he already approved all 4 articles. By the way, I over delivered on the articles, on purpose, and instead of giving him 350 words like he wanted I always wrote at least 400.
So how much money did I make in 56 minutes? Here is the screenshot that shows my total after Textbroker has taken their cut….$18.90

That comes out to just over 20 bucks an hour.
The question is: can I do that 1 hour blitz at least twice each day, effectively matching the income from my day job, and boosting my monthly income from about $1,200 per month up to $2,400 per month?
It is certainly worth considering…..
