Gearing Up For the Next Wave of Making Money Online, etc.

So after the setback with Textbroker I am regrouping here.

Active income was never my goal to begin with but the dollar signs were floating in my eyeballs due to the lure of 30 dollar hours with Textbroker.

I still see that I could definitely work my tail off and make extra money with Textbroker but it is not so much different than the rate of pay that I make at my day job. It might be a bit more but that is only if I am seriously cranking out the content and if you do that for several hours per day it is just not that much fun. I would do it for 30 bucks an hour. But for 20 an hour or less I am not so thrilled, especially when I could be building up my passive income streams instead.

This past week I had 4 days in a row that averaged just over 20 bucks per day in passive income. This is phenomenal and shows the true potential of what I am trying to do. I recently wrote a ton of new content with some very good keyword research behind it and I have about 40 new articles on my flagship site that have the potential to make thousands per month if I create enough backlinks for them.

Of course it is hard to build links and create new articles in order to build links with them through sites like ezine, but that is the key to sustainable income. The focus needs to shift back to growth for me. I got caught up in the idea of big income but what I really need to work on instead is in long term growth for my passive income streams. Right now I have 2 major streams and one is through my flagship website and the other is through hubpages. Both are completely passive income and both are producing money every day already. I would love to make 30 an hour but quite honestly that is not building an asset for the future and I would rather continue doing so in my quest to learn how to make money online.

I need to work hard at growing those two income streams over the rest of the summer so they will be ranking well when traffic picks back up again in the winter.
