Want to know how to make money on the internet? There are a bunch of ways to do it and I have found some success at it so I can tell anyone how to do it. Of course, as always my website URL is a bit misleading because it does take a crap ton of work to pull it off, but once you are in the groove, the money starts rolling in. But it takes a while.
There are millions of ways to make make money on the internet and I do not pretend to know them all. In fact I really know very little other than one basic method and that method is simple and straightforward seo. This stands for “search engine optimization” and my technique is to build websites that get traffic from the search engines. Once you have regular traffic showing up, you can make money from that traffic through various forms of monetization. You can sell ads, sell affiliate products, sell your own products, sell your own services, or whatever. Probably the easiest to set up is Google Adsense for most people, though it is not necessarily easy to make tons of money from it. It takes time and it takes work. Again, sorry for the misleading url.
So there are really 3 major steps to making money with my strategy, and that is:
1) Select keywords
2) Create content (write articles or blog posts)
3) Build links
Now number 2 and 3 are going to play out over and over again as you build more websites and move up the search engines. But you could do these things over and over again but never make a dime if you are lousy at #1: picking good keywords.
There is an art to picking a good keyword to target. If you shoot too high where all the money is, you will never rank for it and you will never get any traffic and you will make no money.
If you shoot too low, you will rank easily for your chosen keyword, but no traffic will show up, or if it does, you will not make any money because the keyword just does not pay for crap.
But there is gold out there to be mined in keywords that are somewhat easy to rank for, but yet still pay off a decent bit of coin. You have to dig to find the gems among a field of junk keywords.
It took me about 2 years of struggle before I stumbled on the secret to finding good keywords. I paid good money to learn how over at the keyword academy, and I would do it again in a heartbeat because it has increased my monthly internet income to over $500/month now.
