Do you want to make extra cash by doing something online? Say you need to make some extra loot to buy your Christmas tree decorations, or maybe some cookies for Santa. It is an alluring prospect because pretty much anyone can do this if they have some free time to spend while they are at home just sitting at the computer each day.
There are 2 broad ways that you can make extra money online. One is you can do some work and get paid for it. The other is you could build something of value and then get paid for that over and over again. The first way is to make active income. The second way is to make passive income. Both paths will make you extra money, and both paths require a lot of hard work. One will get you money faster and the other will build up a long term asset over time.
You could always experiment with doing both of course. If you want to, check out some freelance websites that allow you to write articles for other people for money. There are plenty of sites out there like this and if you sign up and start writing for them you could be paid in as little as a month or even less. Some of them even pay you via Paypal so you don’t even have to wait for a check to come in the mail.
How much extra cash can you make this way? Well at one point I was writing about 20 articles per day, and making about 3 or 4 bucks per article. This took me about 5 hours to complete every day that I did it, and I took a few short breaks in there. Now not everyone will be that fast but I am sure there are some people out there that are even faster. In fact I know of at least one guy who is much faster and works longer hours than that too.
But if you do the math on that you are looking at about 60 to 80 bucks extra per day. Of course that is with about 5 solid hours of work invested, and of course your results will vary depending on how fast you can compose original articles about a variety of topics.
Now this is the active way to make income and if you want to keep making money then you have to keep cranking out articles every day. The alternative is to build up your own websites with articles and attempt to make money from them.
