Want to make extra money online? Most people would not mind this one bit and it is a very realistic goal to achieve, though it will take a bit of work. There are a number of ways to do it and I am not going to go into a big list here about how you can sell stuff on eBay or write articles for Textbroker or all of that other stuff. There are plenty of great ways to make an active income online but you have to keep doing work in order to make the money. What is sort of nice about the internet is that there are some ways to create a money making machine instead, one that pays you over and over again after you have done the work. This is known as passive income and in my opinion it is the best way to make money online.
Now my technique is to start websites with the intention of getting search engine traffic to come to the website. Given enough traffic to a site, you can eventually start to make money from the traffic in a couple different basic ways. One simple way is to simply throw on some advertising that is well targeted for your readers. In reality you do not really want readers at all on your site and would much rather have searchers. People who are looking for specific information and come to your site through a search engine. If you can build a website that gets this sort of traffic every day then you can make some extra cash pretty easily.
So what goes into such a site? Well you need to pick out some profitable keywords and also write some articles about those keywords. In order to be found through the search engines there will also have to be some links out there on the big bad internet that are pointing at your website and at your articles. Now this might sound like a big pain the rear and it might sound like a big hassle but if you can pull this off then you will have created a money making machine that basically pays you money every single day while you sleep. Now you have to do it an awful lot and you have to do it awfully well in order to actually make a living at it, but once you have reached that point where your income is sustainable and high enough, it is pretty much easy street. I currently have over 500 extra dollars coming every month and nothing in particular that I need it for right now. Pretty sweet gig, no?
