Who in their right mind would really want to do data entry work? Instead of pounding on a keyboard mindlessly all day and being paid peanuts for your efforts, you could be building up an online asset that pays you over and over again while you sleep.
You see, this is the difference between the passive income mindset and the worker mindset. The data entry job is steady money but you have to keep running in the hamster wheel all day in order to make the money appear. It is no better than a regular job and some people get lured into the idea simply because they can do it from home in some cases. Data entry is still active work for a small amount of pay and if you go this route then you have to keep trading your labor hours for dollars in order to put food on your plate and make a living.
If you shift over to building up passive income, then you can produce work one time that pays you over and over again on a residual basis. This is the beauty of internet marketing and this should be the goal that you are building towards. Instead of entering data for someone else and being paid a tiny bit for it, enter your own data on your own web properties and get paid a tiny bit, over and over again.
People don’t always do the math when it comes to residual income with their websites. They might see that they write an article and maybe if they track that article for the course of a month or two, the will see that it is bringing in about a dollar per month in revenue. Maybe it only gets a few ad clicks here and there and over the course of an entire month, it makes like $1.05 or something. So the person says “big deal” and does not get excited about it.
Folks, when I get those kind of results, I get very excited indeed! If I can write an article and get paid a buck for that every single month, then that is good money! Do you know how quickly I can produce another 500 articles that are just as good as that one? Less than 90 days if I am diligent about it. And in fact I have already produced those kinds of numbers and am reaping the benefits of doing so.
